The Transnational Kick-off Meeting (KOM) for the new collaborative project took place in Esbjerg, Denmark, on October 3-4, 2024, hosted by Esbjerg Realskole. This significant gathering aimed to mobilize project resources, establish clear roles, and set strategic directions to ensure smooth collaboration among partner institutions.

Partners received a warm welcome from Esbjerg Realskole representatives before introducing themselves, fostering mutual understanding and laying the groundwork for effective collaboration. A comprehensive presentation of the project’s overarching goals and background was delivered by Esbjerg Realskole and SOSU Ostjylland. Critical discussions followed, focusing on selecting appropriate communication tools and channels, an essential step for facilitating effective ongoing collaboration. Detailed presentations of the project’s work packages and phases, especially on the first output- WP2, financial management, timeline planning, dissemination strategies, proposals for the project logo, and quality assurance mechanisms took place during the successful two day meeting. A social dinner with traditional Esbjerg dishes followed the first day of the meeting promoting networking and synergies among participants.

All partners demonstrated strong commitment and collaborative spirit essential for the project’s success and thus the Esbjerg meeting effectively set the stage for a structured, coordinated, and productive project lifecycle.
